Maura Bolger is in her fourth year
with the Fairfield University Department of Athletics, her second
as the Assistant Director of Athletics/Compliance & Recruiting.
In her role as compliance coordinator, Bolger oversees the
departments adherence to regulations from the University, MAAC, and
NCAA. She also runs an educational program for coaches,
student-athletes, staff, and representatives of athletics to make
sure rules and regulations are followed in all regards. In
her new role as recruiting coordinator, Bolger oversees and assists
in the recruiting process for all varsity sports.
Bolger worked as a graduate assistant in the Pepperdine University
Athletics Department from Jan. 2005 through May 2006, in
compliance. While at Pepperdine she earned her J.D. from the
School of Law. Currently she is taking MBA courses at
Fairfield's Dolan School of Business.
A native of Brielle, N.J., Bolger did her undergraduate work at
Princeton University, where she earned an A.B. in Economics.
A member of the Tigers swimming and diving team for three seasons,
she was named Second Team All Ivy in 2000.
Bolger currently resides in Fairfield, Conn.
