2008 Season
An All-MAAC second team player, Trifiolis started all but one of Fairfield's 51 games, including the last 35 outings. She posted 10 extra base hits, including seven doubles, one triple, and two home runs. She stroked a base hit in five of the last six regular-season games, missing only the second game against Manhattan. She led the team in stolen bases with 14, getting caught just twice. She tallied a season-high two stolen bases in a win against Rhode Island. Trifiolis hit .260 over the final 14 games, and struck out just once during those 42 at-bats. She started the season by not striking out for the first eight games of the year (23 at-bats). She batted .258 for the season, but owned a .284 hitting percentage against non-conference opponents (32 games). In conference play, Trifiolis owned a .204 batting average with four of her 10 hits going for extra base hits (three doubles, one homer).

2007 Season
Trifiolis led all Fairfield freshmen with 37 hits, and finished the year with a .270 batting average. She posted nine multi-hit games, including four in a row at the end of the season. During that four-game streak, the infielder batted .500 with eight hits in 16 at-bats with six RBI. She finished the season with 15 extra base hits that include nine doubles and a team-leading six home runs. Trifiolis led the team with nine stolen bases, and was caught twice. She had a hit in 25 games, and hit in both ends of a doubleheader four times. Her 137 at-bats were second only to Julia Jacoby's 142 at-bats, while her 28 runs scored tied Jacoby for the team lead.

Before Fairfield
She joined the program after attending Whippany Park High School. Trifiolis played summer softball with the Morris County Belles. She lists marketing as her major.
