2008 Season
Stand has been a regular in the lineup at second base, starting 35 games this season. She finished the season in strong fashion by batting .286 over the final seven games, all of which came against MAAC opponents. She went two for five in the Stags 14-inning win against Marist, her second multiple-hit game of the season. Her first multi-hit contest came on March 16 with three hits and two RBI against UNC-Wilmington. That game started a three-game run for Stand during which she went five for nine, including 2 for 5 in a doubleheader against Boston College. She scored three of her seven runs in the final three games, touching the plate against Manhattan, Marist, and Iona. She posted four stolen bases in six attempts during the season.

2007 Season
Stand became a fixture in the Stags outfield as a freshman, gaining 38 starts during the year. She put together a five-game hitting streak late in the year, batting .357 throughout the stretch with a double. Stand hit one homer, a solo shot against Iona on May 2. She batted .250 with three RBI against MAAC opponents over 16 games. Stand played solid defense during the year, making three errors in 48 chances (38 putouts, 17 assists). Stand picked up three steals in as many attempts, two of which came against non-conference opponents.

Before Fairfield
Stand came to Fairfield via Milford High School, where she was a member of the varsity softball team. During the summer, Stand played softball with the Polar Crush summer team. She lists business as her major.
