Before Fairfield:
Burnett brings a great deal of versatility to the team, having the ability to play several positions which includes catcher. She was a catcher and played third base while a member of the El Camino High School softball team. Her strong softball fundamentals and dedication to the game will factor in to her contribution as a freshman. She enjoyed a successful summer ball season with the Galt Illusion, a team which captured five of eight summer ball tournaments during the season. Off the diamond, Burnett excelled academically by graduation in the top 10 percent of her class. She lists English as her major at Fairfield University.
