2008 Season: O'Donnell provided support to her teammates as one of the team's reserve goalkeepers in 2008. She did not gain any minutes during the regular season.

Before Fairfield: O'Donnell has a well-rounded field hockey background that includes time at the high school, club, and Futures levels. As a goaltender, O'Donnell helped Mount St. Joseph Academy to four Catholic League championships. In 2006, the team captured the District title and reached the state finals before falling to Lower Dauphin. She traveled with Mount St. Joseph to tournaments in Rome and Amsterdam as well. In Futures play, she participated in the Regional Rumble where her team finished third out of 32 teams. O'Donnell recorded impressive numbers during the tournament with 24 saves with three goals allowed. O'Donnell played club field hockey with the Mystx.
