Furey has enjoyed a great deal of success at Bishop Eustace Prep as well as in Futures competition. As Bishop Eustace Prep, Furey was a midfielder on the varsity team since the end of her first season. As a sophomore, she started every game and tallied nine assists. She was a team captain as a junior, tallied 10 goals with 18 assists, and captured the Central Jersey Group 1 title before falling double overtime in the state final. Bishop Eustace Prep won three conference championships in her first three years with the team. Furey collected All-Conference (first team), All-Parochial (first team), and All-South Jersey (second team) honors. She played Futures for three seasons (2004-06) and advanced tot he National Championship each year. She participated at the National Field Hockey Festival with Spirit USA.
