Hilary Burns
	Class: Freshman Position: Midfielder	Height: 5-4	Hometown: North Falmouth, Mass. High School: Falmouth

Burns hopes to bring her scoring success to the collegiate level this Fall when she takes the field for the Stags. As a senior, Burns led the Atlantic Coast League in scoring and was named the league's most valuable player. She was an ACL all-star as a junior and an honorable mention selection as a sophomore. She served Falmouth High School as team captain in 2007. In her senior season, Burns was named an All-Cape Team All-Star. Academically, Burns was named to the Boston Globe's and the Boston Herald's All-Scholastic teams. the midfielder was named to the Massachusetts Best of 60. In addition to her field hockey play, Burns was a member of the varsity track and field and tennis teams. She participated in the Bay State Games for four years, playing with Team Coastal.  Burns participated in the National Futures Tournament in each of the last four years. She also played in the AAU Junior Olympics during her sophomore season.
