2008 Season: Asante returned to the Fairfield roster after taking a season off in 2007. He appeared in seven games during the campaign, with six of his appearances coming as a reserve. He earned a start in his first appearance of the year, receiving the nod against Northeastern University. Asante came off the bench against Iona, Niagara, Canisius, Marist, and Siena. He managed a pair of shots, releasing one attempt against Iona and Marist.
2007 Season: Asante did not play last season, but will return for the 2008 campaign.
2006 Season: Asante appeared in one game, helping the Stags post a 3-1 win over Siena College.
Before Fairfield: Asante joined the program after a successful career at St. Benedict's Prep. During his four-year stay, the team posted two unbeaten seasons including an 18-0-1 mark in 2003. St. Benedict's Prep was crowned the 2005 national high school champion following its perfect season, posting a 23-0 final record. Asante tallied four goals and 13 assists as a senior, which brought his scoring total to 16 goals and 36 assists for 68 total points. Off the pitch, Asante earned a place on the National Honor Society. He lists Management as his course of study at Fairfield.
