Liz Glomb begins her third season as an assistant coach for the Fairfield University Rowing Program, joining the program in the Fall of 2006.

At Fairfield, she helped the Novice women attain two second-place finishes at the MAAC championships in 2007 and 2008. At the 2008 MAAC championships, the entire Fairfield squad finished second overall.

Glomb came to Fairfield after a one-year stint as the assistant women's rowing coach at Wesleyan University where she coached the novice women's 8 to a grand final finish at the 2006 New England Championships.

Before joining the coaching ranks, Glomb was a four-year letter winner with the University of Connecticut rowing program. At the 2004 and 2005 Dad Vail championships, she coxed her crews to Gold Medal finishes in the junior varsity 8+ and varsity 8+.

Glomb started her career at Yorktown High School (Arlington, Va.) where she coxed for four seasons.

Glomb still coxes competitively and has coxed for such clubs as Riverfront Recapture Inc., Thompson's Boat Center, and Norwalk River Rowing Association. She is also a US Rowing Level II certified coach.
