The Fairfield University men's lacrosse had four of its members honored with All-New England honors, announced by the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA). Senior Greg Downing, and juniors Chris Atwell and Matt Scanlon earned first team accolades, while senior Mike Bocklet was named to the second team.

Downing, a midfielder, finished his Fairfield career as one of just four players with over 100 career goals, netting two in the finale, to get to 101. He ranks fifth all-time in program history with 141 points, having notched 27 this year, with 20 goals and seven assists. His 20-goal season was the fourth of his collegiate career.

Atwell was named first team at defense, having started all 12 games for the Stags. He recorded 27 ground balls on the year, while also causing 11 turnovers, which was second on the team.

Scanlon was honored at a long stick, after having a stellar season, which included being named the ECAC Defensive Player of the Week. He led the team with 22 caused turnovers on the year. He finished second on the squad with 37 ground balls. He played in all 12 games, with 11 starts to his credit.

Bocklet earned his accolades at an attackman, after leading the Stags with 39 points, which ranked 26th nationally through the end of the regular season. He netted a team-high 26 goals, while also dishing 13 assists, third on the team. He finishes his career ranked among the best players in program history statistically. He tallied 147 points, fourth all-time, on 95 goals, fifth in program history and 52 assists, sixth in program history.

The Stags finished the 2007 season at 6-6, and were 2-5 in their second season as a member of the ECAC Lacrosse League.
