Petre And Snellman To Chat With Fans On Inside Lacrosse/ESPN Weekly Chat Friday

Senior Matt Petre and freshman John Snellman of the Fairfield University men's lacrosse team will be taking part in the weekly Inside Lacrosse/ESPN Chat on Friday, March 28 at approximately 1 p.m.  The Stags are 4-2 overall and 2-0 in the ECAC Lacrosse League as they prepare for Saturday's game at Hobart College.

To ask a question of Matt and John simply click here.  Fans can submit questions in advance or during the chat itself.  The two Stags will be available for about 30 minutes on Friday, before hopping on the bus for the trip to Geneva, N.Y.

Petre is a team captain for the Stags and one of the backbones of the defensive unit.  He was named to the IL Team of the Week for his efforts in the Stags' 5-4 overtime win over Penn State on Saturday.  Petre is tops on the team with nine caused turnovers.

Snellman, a rookie attack, was named the ECAC Co-Offensive Player of the Week and the NEILA Player of the Week, after netting five goals and an assist in the team's wins over Marist and Penn State.  He netted the game-tying goal against Penn State and had four goals in the win at Marist.  Snellman leads the team with 11 goals.
