
Saturday Contest At Hobart Ends Men's Lacrosse Road Swing

The Fairfield University men's lacrosse team ends a three-game road trip on Saturday with a noon game at ECAC Lacrosse League foe Hobart College. The Stags, winner of back-to-back games, are 4-2 overall and in first place in the league at 2-0. The Statesmen, who won their first five games of the year, are 5-2 overall and 1-1 in ECAC action.
The Stags received numerous accolades after their 2-0 week, highlighted by rookie John Snellman earning ECAC Co-Offensive Player of the Week and NEILA Player of the Week accolades. Senior Matt Petre was named to the InsideLacrosse Team of the Week as well. Snellman and Petre will be participating in the InsideLacrosse/ESPN weekly chat on Friday at around 1 p.m., answering questions submitted by Fairfield and lacrosse fans around the nation.
