FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Fairfield University Head Coach Ed Cooley announced that the men's basketball team will play two exhibition games in November as the Stags will host the University of Bridgeport and Stonehill College at the Arena at Harbor Yard.

The first exhibition game is set for November 5 when the Purple Knights travel just down the road to the Arena for a 7:30 pm tip. This will mark the fourth straight season in which the Stags will take on Bridgeport in an exhibition game.

Fairfield will host Stonehill College in an exhibition game for the first time this year, as Coach Cooley will battle his alma mater. The Skyhawks come to the Arena at Harbor Yard on November 9 with the game scheduled to start at 7:30 pm.

The Fairfield University men's basketball team will open the 2009-10 campaign when it plays Central Connecticut State University in the second game of the Connecticut 6 Classic tripleheader. The game is slated for a 7:30 pm tip.
