Fairfield University is proud to once again offer live video streaming of home sporting contests in conjunction with B2 Networks as the second year of the partnership begins.
During the 2008-09 seasons, Fairfield will broadcast home contests from 10 of its varsity sports and all of the men's and women's basketball home games that are not part of the MAAC Television Package. This fall nearly a dozen contests were viewed, from the men's and women's soccer teams to field hockey and volleyball. The schedule will continue in the spring as well, with plans in place to broadcast selected baseball, men's lacrosse, women's lacrosse and softball contests from campus.
Fairfield fans can choose several viewing options from the B2 Network. A year-long All Sports Pass is available for fans who wish to watch any Fairfield athletic contests that are broadcast, both home and away. There is also a Basketball Season Pass that enables fans to watch every Fairfield men's and women's basketball game being streamed. The third option is to purchase viewership on a game-by-game basis.
PRICES:
All-Sports Pass: $150.00 - Watch any game!
Basketball Pass: $60.00 - Watch all men's and women's games live!
Single Games: $7.00 - Purchase games to view on a game-by-game basis.
Audio Only: ALWAYS FREE!
For men's and women's basketball, fans can access an audio-only (listen) feed for every game, home and away. In addition the Fairfield student radio station, WVOF, broadcasts select games from other sports as well. To access the audio feed visit the men's or women's schedule page and click on the audio link next to the contest that is being played.
For video streaming (watch), click the B2 link above to be taken to the customized Fairfield page. There you can purchase your season pass or individual game ticket. Fans can visit the men's or women's schedule page and click the video link next to the game they wish to view, for single-game viewing purchases. Fairfield may also play B2 Network partners on the road and have those games streamed live.
